Polityka prywatności — Lista Pakowania (Packing List)

Ostatnia aktualizacja: 2026-10-14

Aparat

Aplikacja prosi o dostęp do aparatu wyłącznie wtedy, gdy użytkownik sam wybierze opcję zeskanowania kodu QR z udostępnioną podróżą.

Reklamy i RODO

Istotne zmiany zostaną zasygnalizowane w opisie aktualizacji Aplikacji w Google Play.

Privacy Policy — Packing List

Last updated: 2026-10-14

Packing List / Lista Pakowania ("the App") is an app for creating lists of things to pack for a trip. The App works offline, does not require an account and does not directly collect personal information (name, email address, phone number). The App has no server of its own — the publisher does not receive any data you enter in the App.

Data processed locally on your device

The App stores locally on the device (in the App's internal database) only the data you enter:

This data is not sent to any server of the publisher and is not shared with third parties by the publisher. You can delete it at any time in the App (by deleting items or trips) or by uninstalling the App.

Android system backup: if you have Android's automatic backup turned on, the system may include the App's data in the backup stored in your Google account (Google Drive), so it can be restored, e.g. after switching phones. This backup is managed by Android and your Google account — the publisher has no access to it. You can turn backup off in the system settings (Settings → Google → Backup).

Sharing lists

The App lets you share a list as text, as a trip file (.packlist) or as a QR code. Sharing happens only when you request it, through an app you choose (e.g. a messenger or email) or by showing the QR code on your screen. The data does not pass through any server of the publisher. A file prepared for sharing is temporarily stored in the App's cache on the device. Importing a list (from a file or QR code) always requires your confirmation and creates a new trip locally on your device.

Camera

The App asks for camera access only when you choose to scan a QR code of a shared trip. The camera image is analyzed only on the device to read the QR code — it is not saved, recorded or sent anywhere. Denying camera access does not affect the App's other features.

Advertising and GDPR

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads (a single banner, shown only on the checklist screen of a trip). For this purpose, the App connects to the internet and uses the advertising identifier (Advertising ID).

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the App displays a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the App by tapping the "Privacy settings" icon (shield icon) on the trips screen.

Data processed by third parties

Google AdMob and related Google services may process the following technical data in order to display and measure the effectiveness of ads:

This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Google's EU User Consent Policy. The App's publisher does not have access to this data in a form that would allow direct identification of the user. The contents of your packing lists are not passed to Google AdMob.

Legal basis for processing

Where required by law (in particular the GDPR), ad personalization is based on your consent, expressed through the consent form (UMP/CMP). Consent can be withdrawn or changed at any time in the App, without affecting the ability to use the App's core functionality.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Because the App does not directly collect personal data, and your packing lists stay on your device, most of the rights above regarding data processed by third parties are exercised through Google's consent settings (UMP) and the tools described in Google's privacy policy.

California users (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You can exercise this right by disabling personalized ads in the App's consent form (UMP) or in your Android device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the Google Play Families program. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Permissions used by the App

Data security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect processed data; however, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this privacy policy

This policy may be updated periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document. Material changes will be noted in the App's update description on Google Play.

Contact

For questions about this privacy policy, you can contact the App's publisher at: gosia.barg@gmail.com, or through the contact details listed on the App's Google Play page.
